IT Project Management, SCERT


Certificate of Achievement (ITPRM -SCERT)

About the Program

The IT Project Management Certificate Program provides a broad-based understanding of foundational concepts in data networking, including the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) reference model and the protocols that operate at each layer. The coursework also prepares students for the Network+ Certification. In addition, the program offers the required contact hours and essential information needed to take the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam.

This Program Offers

  • Short Term Certificate (SCERT): 22 credit hours

College Certificate Goals

  • Teach students foundational skills in Preparation for entry-level careers in Cybersecurity and in IT healthcare, business and others
  • Provide students with course content and practical experience consistent with competencies required to pass the Network+ certification exam
  • Meet the educational requirement to become certified by taking the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam with a 70% or higher proficiency score

Admission Requirement

To be admitted into the Cyber Security Program students must:

  • Fulfill all WCCCD admission requirements
  • Declare intent to enter the program on WCCCD Admission Application or in the Student Services Office
  • Complete an Educational Development Plan (Plan of Work) outlining the student’s plan for program completion

Certificate Total: 22 Credits
